🔑 As a huge advocate for equal opportunity and access to quality education, I’ve been interested in building my own initiatives since I was 14 when I started my first international charity. In the last five years, I have travelled extensively between North America & Asia to facilitate think-tank events and ministry meetings with renowned leaders in education to propose recommendations for curriculum change in Chinese rural schools. In 2019, these efforts led me to co-publishing a 274-page dual government-certified bilingual curriculum, tripling literacy rates in 2 regions. I also co-founded LEAP Canada, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping high school students transition successfully to post-secondary. 🐝 next goal: edtech!
✨ Currently interested in exploring the intersection of business & technology! What drives me is my love of learning and adding value to other people's lives. Everyday I try to learn and do a little bit more to understand how the world really works. One effective way I've found to do this is through hanging out with more experienced people who inspire me. I am curious to understand how they think, where their experiences have led them, and what I can learn from them. Essentially, I'm trying to download their software without having to build it myself. With this knowledge, I can amplify the impact I have to make other people's lives better.
