In my own work I am focusing on understanding of human perception and how to deploy it in its fullest potential in everyday life, utilizing code as the main building block. I am excited about everything research and problem-solving related as those are the core necessities for most of my current and past projects. Collective Mindscape

This interactive digital artwork combines the mindscapes of cancer patients of various ages into an open world. When walking through this world, the viewer can discover the participants’ virtual sanctuaries, but also more challenging landscapes reflecting their experiences of living with cancer. Within this collective mindscape, viewers can activate ‘sound treasures’, where the participants tell about those experiences. The work was commissioned for the new Siltasairaala, and was curated by Taru Elfving. The digital landscapes were created by 3D artists Vilma Ratinen and Katariina Kontturi. The work was produced by Firma Oy / Studio Kalleinen and co-produced with Häivekuva. It has been supported by AVEK.See More
