Coach; Fundraising Team Leader; Student Intern

For The ManyNov 2020 - Jul 2022 • 1 yr 9 mosFor The Many is a grassroots organization based in the Hudson Valley in New York State fighting for a more just New York and ultimately a more just United States through gaining collective support in numbers of people from all different classes and races to win key elections and campaigns. After working as a Fundraising Team Member in their December 2020 fundraising drive, I was invited to be a Fundraising Team Leader. As a Fundraising Team Leader, I trained for three months to become a well-informed fundraiser, and recruited and led my own team of fundraisers for the Summer 2021 drive to ultimately help raise over $300,000 in just one week. For the Winter 2021 Drive, I interned as a Fundraising Coach, training for four months to become a manager, also known as a coach, for Fundraising Team Leaders. For the Summer 2022 drive, I worked as the first ever Assistant Drive Manager for the fundraiser, helping in organizing the drive and training our Fundraising Team Leaders. These internships have provided me with the opportunity to increase my skills in communications, technology, and in developing organizational and leadership skills.
