As many social media platforms begin to adopt the short-form video format, crossposting videos across social media accounts is just another task that content creators have to add to their long to-do list. Beacons is a startup company that develops tools that help content creators to carry out their day-to-day tasks. A content repurposing app that allows users to easily crosspost their videos would be a great addition to Beacons' catalog of apps.See More

Redesigning Spotify Group Sessions

Remote group session is a fun feature on Spotify that allows users to listen to the same music virtually. This feature provides an easy within-app experience for people who want to listen to music as a group and allows its users to access the player panel and the queue. However, starting remote group sessions can be a difficult task. A restructuring of this feature not only made it easier to use but also revealed Spotify users’ desire for greater social interactivity within the app.See More

Website Redesign @ UCLA Korean Culture Night

UCLA Korean Culture Night (KCN) is an annual student-run theatrical production celebrating Korean culture at UCLA. KCN’s website should serve as the digital home, providing information to visitors in a meaningful and informative way, but fails to do so. The redesign involved a reconstructed information architecture, a new design system, and site optimization, resulting in an enhanced user experience and a significant increase in site traffic.See More

Fuel CycleInternMar 2024 - Present • 8 mos• Managing Fuel Cycle’s new design system by adding six components to the pattern library and writing usage guidelines and documentation. • Reviewed the design explorations of new components with two UX designers to evaluate the usability of each design. • Audited 50+ pages to ensure design files were linked to Fuel Cycle’s new design system. • Presented interactive prototypes showcasing different states and use cases for each component.

Hewlett Packard EnterpriseInternMay 2023 - Aug 2023 • 4 mos• Initiated the responsive design project, bringing HPE’s desktop cloud storage application to mobile and tablet environments. • Proposed design system changes to ensure UI patterns seamlessly respond to the device while retaining visual and interactive design. • Assessed the user journey of mobile and tablet users to optimize the content layout of important pages according to user needs and goals. • Created a responsive prototype demonstrating how the application adjusts across desktop, tablet, and mobile interfaces.

UCLA Korean Culture NightApr 2022 - May 2023 • 1 yr 2 mos• Led the site redesign project after assessing usability issues from a site audit and user survey. • Introduced a new design system for the website to promote consistency across web pages and to better reflect the organization’s brand. • Added ticketing and recruitment pages, thus increasing site traffic and resolving user pain points when obtaining event and application information. • Implemented the website using WordPress, HTML, and CSS after designing wireframes and prototypes on Figma.
