I'm an experienced full-stack data analyst and data scientist who has worked primarily with early- to mid-stage startups across a variety of industries including e-commerce, logistics, and software-as-a-service (SaaS). I've implemented a data analytics practice from scratch at multiple companies; my philosophy is to work closely with business leaders to understand how data analytics can provide clarity and positive impact, then working backwards to implement the necessary data ingestion, transformation, and analysis to achieve these goals. This allows me to create a lean data practice that maximizes business impact while minimizing technical debt and the turnaround time on data-related requests.

Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence for SaaS company

I worked with the CEO of a SaaS company to define high-level strategic goals for a new analytics program, then scoped the necessary technical requirements including ingesting additional data into a data warehouse (Snowflake), implementing a data transformation layer (dbt), and exposing metrics to business users via dashboards (Tableau). I then worked with the engineering team to implement these requirements, creating a functioning business intelligence practice within two months. API to Predict Transit Times for Freight Shipments

Analyzed a large volume of historical data to generate predictions for the end-to-end transit time of new shipment quotes given by a freight forwarder.
