Entry Level Developer passionate about Building User-Friendly Experiences
My name is Ali Syed and I am a student in the Faculty of Arts and Science and Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto St. George! Through several years of programming and creating user-friendly experiences, I have developed a strong passion for computer science which I can demonstrate through my side-project initiatives, competition participation, and internship experiences. For example, I have built a JavaScript SDK for a startup called Kurtosis Technologies that increased its audience base by 80%, have worked on a full-stack web application in an agile team of five developers for a comany named Hypatia Systems, and a JavaScript application that won the Innovative Award and $30,000 of AWS and business support at the Prepr Beyond Covid-19 Challenge. I am always looking for summer job opportunities, catered toward computer science students, where I can put my skills to the test! If you would like to view my resume or book a virtual coffee chat with me, you can contact me at alisyed0206@gmail.com. Thank you for taking the time for reading my little bio! *if you've read this far and you'd like to connect, just mention "apples everyday" in the connection note :)
