I was a growth advisor for Prediction Strike, a sports stock market startup. I helped lead their growth initiatives, including building a Discord server for active traders on the platform. We acquired users to the community via email, paid rewards, and social media. In my time, we launched this Discord server and amassed over 5k members. While not a huge community, it was highly engaged, with over 60% actively visiting weekly and nearly 1/5 of total users engaging weekly. This community was pivotal in helping test new features, identify new ideas, and create content for social media. We would run contests weekly for best trade ideas, most referrals, and leaderboards. This resulted in our discord community referring, on average, 3.4 users per member. They were also our highest revenue generates, aka whales (people who had over $1k deposited on the platform.)
