Born & raised in East Lansing, Michigan, by an all-American, blue-collar family I adopted my love for fashion from the Vogue catalogs on my grandmother’s kitchen counter. My collection and design aesthetic is meant to take you from the dinner parties of New York City to the stadium of NFR to a Texas dive bar. Derived from traditional American western wear and classic couture pattern making, my collection, “I think I Lost my Mind” follows the rebirth of the American, female spirit; free, bold, & proud.

I THINK I LOST MY MIND

The story behind the collection comes from the women I’ve met a long the way. In the modern world the traditional American woman is doubted. I’ve struggled with my own insight on the 21st century feminism movement, because it often excludes woman with converse viewpoints. My collection is a critique of this. Did I really lose my mind? Am I really wrong for my values? Or am I being told by the culture surrounding me that to be a feminist my values must align with the blueprint? My collection, “I Think I Lost My Mind,” follows inspiration from a range of musical artist as well: Taylor Swift, Koe Wetzel, Lana Del Rey. Communicated with designers regarding loaner program gowns, test dress feedback and use of stock portals. • Developed trunk and runway shows, dealt with promotion, organization, model fittings and inventory management. • Tracked purchased order data in numerous spreadsheets, managed supplier timelines and commit dates.
