Adam Seidenfrau
IT/Data Analytics Intern at EQIS | Kelley School of Business | Information Systems and Business Analytics | Technology Consulting Workshop Raleigh, North Carolina, United States Contact info EQIS Capital Management,
My personal mission is to grow into a authentic, imaginative, and empathetic leader, which can best be accomplished by pursuing synergistic opportunities while simultaneously taking a step back to focus on developing interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
I am currently a Sophomore at Indiana University double majoring in Information Systems and Business Analytics at the Kelley School of Business, and minoring in Informatics. As I journey through college, I will continue to strive to a be a true model of academic excellence, while balancing work and extracurricular activities. My main goal is simple: differentiate myself as a student and as a leader by engaging in meaningful experiences, building and strengthening relationships, and most importantly, making the most of every opportunity that crosses my path.
A passion of mine has always been working with technology, information, data, and processes. During the summer between junior and senior year in high school, I was fortunate enough to be nominated and selected for the pilot program for a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) certification. After completing the Yellow Belt certification, I ventured to the campus of North Carolina State University to complete my training for the Junior Green Belt Certification. After working on a "streamlined lunchroom" project for my school, I learned even more about the challenges of process improvement and waste reduction that occur in the real world. While others may have viewed this as a significant roadblock, I saw this more as an opportunity to inspect more "regular" processes and find ways to improve them.
As I continue my studies with Information Systems and Informatics at Indiana University, I hope to understand more about efficiency and the incorporation of technology and data analysis in the business realm.
I hope that in my future career, I will have opportunities where I am able to possess a leadership role, and inspire other people with enthusiasm and passion, to become dedicated in the work which they are involved with. Now is the time to stop being afraid of the power we have to inspire others, and start working together to make an impact that is larger than ourselves.
