Project Role: Cover and Interior Design, Illustration, and Layout I had the privilege of designing Brain-Based Enneagram: You Are Not a Number, a groundbreaking book by Dr. Jerome Lubbe that reimagines the Enneagram through the lens of neuroscience. This project involved crafting a visually compelling and intellectually engaging design to complement the book's innovative content. Working closely with Dr. Jerome and his vision for the project, we prioritized integrating art, science and practicality in each page--offering something for everyone. Cover Design: The cover combines minimalist typography with a striking, visual depiction of a "heat map" illustration to reflect the book's fusion of science and unique personality perspective. The design balances clarity and intrigue, drawing in readers curious about the intersection of the brain and personality systems. Interior Layout: The layout was meticulously crafted for readability and engagement, with a clean, structured format that supports both quick reference and in-depth study. Custom graphics and artwork visually reinforce key concepts, creating a seamless flow between the text and visuals. Custom Artwork: A series of original illustrations and diagrams were developed to visualize complex ideas, helping readers grasp abstract concepts with clarity and ease. These visual elements were designed to resonate with both analytical and intuitive audiences. Impact: The final design captures the essence of the book's mission: to offer a scientifically grounded and accessible approach to self-discovery and self-mastery.
