Award winning Peruvian filmmaker, based in Brooklyn.
I was born and raised in Lima, Peru, and I’ve always has a passion for telling intimate stories about my country and personal experiences. At 17, I directed the award winning short film La Vieja Quinta, which travelled across the festival circuit from Los Angeles to Moscow to Seoul. In 2018 I joined NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Since then, I’ve written and directed narrative and documentary shorts like: Hiccups, The Seizure and, Alienación—which premiered in the UK and won the Diversity in the Arts award at Los Angeles Diversity Film Festival. Lately I’ve been working as a freelance director with clients such as Pangea.app and the United Nations.
