I've loved to write since writing and illustrating my first story at age seven, which turned into a seven book series. Parasitic

Parasitic is one of my favorite short stories that I've written. It centers around a boy who is repeatedly abandoned by his mother, inviting the reader to question why his mother would do such a thing. Straying from my typical writing style, I kept an air of mystery around the story and finished it with an air of sorrow and relief.See More

Eisoptrophobia

Without spoiling too much, this story is about a girl who sees something mysterious in her workplace that causes her to reflect inwards. It has elements of horror and suspense, something I don't usually include in my stories. Eisoptrophobia is named as such to make the reader question what it means at first, but hopefully piece together by the end of the story.See More

Ophidiophobia

I liked writing about phobias, so I wrote a couple other stories about them, including Ophidiophobia. This story is about a girl, who is terrified of snakes, visiting her boyfriend, who just got a snake. It's a simple, lighthearted story.See More

Lunch

I wanted to experiment with the different ways people, particularly middle schoolers, react to tragedy, so I wrote "Lunch." It's a short, dialogue-heavy story that reveals the characters' backstories and personalities through conversation rather than narration.See More

Our Bay Boat

As one of my earliest (and my shortest) works, "Our Bay Boat" is meant to be full of raw emotion. After reading Frankenstein in AP Language, I was inspired to write a story in epistolary format. I also wanted to add more depth to it instead of length, since many of my stories back then were more surface level.See More
