Animated drawing

This was my first work as a UX Desginer. This drawing was a rough sketch of a drink at my company’s new spring menu coming up. My only instructions were to make it look like a sketch and a little whimsical while also showcasing our drink in an appealing way. This hibiscus spritz is a drink made with our special sweetened hibiscus syrup and berry La Criox. I wanted to show the beautiful hibiscus flower to draw attention to the spring aspect of the drink as well as the warm and eye catching light pink and purple tones a typical hibiscus flower may have, which also matches our drink. The font for the drinks’ title, ‘hibiscus spritz’, was hand drawn by me. For this font I chose to make the lettering a little more strawberry red to add some appeal to another ingredient used in our special syrup. On the ‘i’ in ‘spritz’ I added 4 little neon colored dots to represent how the actual bubbly la Criox makes your mouth feel. The La Croix pouring into the cup and syrup mix adds the refreshing look the drinks gives the consumer especially for those warm and hot spring days as summer creeps around the corner. See More
