Time To Advocate’s mission statement is to deliver civic education through multimedia graphics, lessons, and animated explainer videos. In 2023, I worked closely with this organization to develop scripts with writers and storyboarded the finalized versions. For the last 3 years, I’ve had an ongoing video and animation contract with LabX, a public engagement testbed at the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) that boldly experiments with a variety of creative—sometimes even unorthodox—approaches designed to reach diverse audiences. For this project, I was asked to illustrate a living artist for her upcoming, unreleased, single. I was given a storyboard for the plot line of the music video and the client sent me reference images of all the characters and scenes. The project took about 3 months to complete. Within the final 2 weeks of the project, I hired some color artists to help me finish the last couple of batches of work. Overall, I illustrated about 100 figures within 35 files.See MoreWork History
