My professional work experience has challenged me to think outside the box and develop strategic solutions. I have spent the last six years in retail, working my way into supervisory/managerial positions. Being a manager challenged me to bring a team of employees together and develop positive working relationships. Retail has also taught me many valuable skills such as strong organization and effective communication skills.
I'm experienced implementing the best customer service procedures, inventory management practices, and logistics principles. I'm a natural team builder who works well independently.
I’m currently attending Rose State College in Midwest City, Oklahoma, pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Business Marketing/Social Media, as well as a certificate in Business Marketing/Social Media. My studies are covering areas such as digital marketing, practical uses of Microsoft Office, and business management. Attending these classes online has also helped me develop excellent time management and prioritization skills.
My remote work experience includes providing copyediting services to a lifestyle product manufacturing company. I'm experienced using remote friendly tools such as Email, Microsoft and Google Suites, Slack, and Zoom.
