To be completely honest, I never know how to start these things. I always tell people, "Don't come to me unless you want honesty," because since I was little, I've always told the blunt truth.
Hi, my name is Caitlin! I love discovering new things in this world and seeing how everything connects. When it comes to design, I believe it can help anyone, even in small ways. I'm here to make an impact by creating user-centered work.
I am currently a Social Media and Graphic Design Manager but am looking for roles in the Product Design/UI/UX industry. I have a decade of experience in Front-End Development and expertise in mobile iOS Native and Responsive Web Design.
For over four years, I've helped students gain confidence in themselves as graphic designers and UI/UX designers, helping them grow into the designers they aspire to be and become more self-assured. I teach them how to advocate for themselves and learn from their strengths and weaknesses. You might know me from my role at Designlab, where I coach students transitioning into the UI/UX industry. I also gave a talk at a UX panel with Designlab in 2023 about Freelancing and How to Get Started! I'm your go-to person when it comes to starting fresh in freelancing!
Besides coaching, my main focus has been Web Design, and although I don't mind working in the field, I'd love to explore other areas of design like UI/UX, Graphic Design, Branding, Packaging, and Surface Design (Apparel). For my next role, I'm looking for a place where I can grow. Career growth is really important to me as both an educator and a designer.
On a side note, outside of work: I love cooking, gardening, playing video games 🎮, watching tv 📺, and reading. If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to contact me!
