ML Model for Categorizing Retail/Brand Products

In developing a machine learning model for categorizing retail and brand products, I spearheaded the construction of an Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipeline. Beginning with data extraction from our MySQL database, I orchestrated the creation of a new entry in a MongoDB collection, where subsequent transformations were applied. Following this, the refined data found its place in another MongoDB collection before ultimately being loaded into a Neo4j graph database to fortify our applications. Crafting an analytics module for a retail tech solution necessitated the blueprinting and implementation of a robust data pipeline. Data Cleaning and Search Solution with Event-Driven Architecture

Steering a data cleaning and search solution, our objective was to harness the Google Search API to fetch results based on predefined search terms via a rule-based system. Once obtained, each result underwent scrutiny as the system traversed PDFs and webpages, extracting textual content for storage in MongoDB. This trove of data served as the bedrock for executing searches aligned with preset rules. To contend with a voluminous dataset, boasting a million CSV rows, I architected an event-driven system. This entailed S3 bucket uploads triggering AWS Lambda functions, which in turn orchestrated AWS Batch jobs spanning hundreds of EC2 instances.
