Architecturally, midnightsociety composes of a Next.js frontend cleanly decoupled from a Hasura-based backend. Environments are cleanly separated into local, staging, and production, together with GitHub-based automated CI/CD pipelines. Leveraging Hasura, maximum dev velocity is achieved by generating base CRUD graphql APIs, so work is focused on business logic only. Events-driven architecture using change events captured from the Postgresql database allows highly modular logic, deployed as serverless functions.
