I have always been a lover of storytelling. From the time I was a little girl, I always held a book in my hand. As I grew older, I discovered a community of people on YouTube who love to talk about books called BookTube. I started to create content for this community as a sophomore in high school, which led me to pursue a career in film and media. My coursework, especially my work for my senior capstone film production from Fall 2020 to Spring 2021, has shown me the dedication that goes into producing films. I have fostered skills in preparing for the production of a film by managing a budget, writing scripts, setting up a camera, and editing my work in Adobe Premiere. I am a valuable member of group productions, and can also be a leader. Additionally, I have gained experience outside the classroom as a Marketing Intern for Beach Front Property Management and as the Social Media Coordinator for Narcissus Beauty. I can create, schedule, manage, and grow the social media presence of both B2B and B2C companies. I believe in a strong work ethic and take pride in the work that I produce. My professors and co-workers recognize me as dependable and motivated to achieve my goals.

Empowering by Informing (BNT Social Media)

Building Neighborhoods Together (BNT) is a nonprofit and HUD-certified counseling agency based in Bridgeport, CT which aims to empower by informing through its comprehensive housing and financial counseling services. Since 2015, over 18,000 households have been served through BNT's services. In 2023 alone, almost 170 families achieved their dream of homeownership. My goal with BNT was to elevate their social media by providing educational and entertaining content. See More

60 Years of Empowerment

Alliance for Community Empowerment celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2024 as a community action agency serving the Greater Bridgeport area in th state of Connecticut. I did the necessary research for the 60th anniversary campaign including learning about the history at the local level in Bridgeport and at the national level under the leadership of President Lyndon B. Johnson that led to the creation of community action agencies such as ABCD, Inc. (now Alliance for Community Empowerment). I also wrote the copy on this page, selected the photos for the timeline, and wrote the copy in the 2024 Annual Report.See More
