In the past five years I founded and operated two small businesses and over the course of my career I have helped design, create and maintain several mobile and web applications using .NET and JavaScript frameworks (my favorites being Angular, Ionic and React). In my free time you can find me enjoying a hike in a forest, taking a yoga class, walking dogs at a local shelter or volunteering in our community of Czechs and Slovaks (Czech and Slovak Association in Boston).

birdbill

birdbill is a dining companion mobile app for patrons at restaurants, bars, and breweries. Imagine you’re out for the night with friends and have finished your meal or drinks. Everything is wrapping up, and you’re ready to pay and move on - maybe you have a show, game, or appointment to go to. How long does it take to settle up if the venue is busy or understaffed? Do you want to wait for 15-20 minutes? With the birdbill app, you can pay and tip from your phone in just a few seconds - or take off, and we’ll handle it for you. birdbill makes life easier for restaurants, too. We preauthorize all payment methods and let staff know when a bill is attached to a birdbill patron, meaning it’s “all set” in terms of payment. This frees up staff to focus on tasks that make the dining experience special for guests. For bars and clubs, we offer payment and tip security in a non-intrusive, modern way. On top of that, we allow venues to target patrons with offers and ads inviting them back. The best part is we connect with the restaurant’s existing POS system without additional hardware. See More
