Providing expert guidance to clients on a range of recruitment-related matters. This includes advising on candidate profiles, job market trends, salary expectations, best hiring practices, conducting assessments, and carrying out interviews to identify top talent. Overseeing Shortlist's social media channels and leveraging them to promote job opportunities across multiple geographic regions, generating an average of 10,000 impressions per post, helping to increase brand awareness and attract a large pool of qualified candidates. Establishing and maintaining partnerships with local organisations, professional associations, and career offices in universities to identify and engage with top talent and leveraging these relationships, to place candidates into various roles. Collecting, analysing, and reporting recruitment metrics such as clicks per application and applications submitted, to measure the effectiveness of our recruitment strategies to identify areas for improvement and optimise our recruitment processes to achieve better results and improve time-to-hire. Kaya TalentMay 2021 - Feb 2022 • 10 mosSuccessfully identified and recruited highly qualified candidates for various roles, including entry to mid-level management, remote functions in Africa (Kenya, Senegal, Rwanda, and Tanzania), blue-collar positions in the manufacturing industry, and data analysts and developers, among other roles, with various employer partners. Additionally, managed high-volume recruitment drives, filling more than 60 positions across eight different roles. Managed candidates through the recruiting pipeline, averaging roles being filled within two months. This was achieved by liaising with the Principal Consultant and multiple hiring managers in industries such as Manufacturing, Public Relations, Fintech, Microfinance as well as FMCG to ensure a smooth outsourced process Conducted fieldwork for the hiring of entry-level roles and blue-collar positions for more than 4 roles that had more than 20 open positions Created and managed Kaya Talent social media accounts for the posting of job positions, and sourcing channels and built a brand identity with the Kaya Talent Facebook page reaching 57,100 impressions in four months Built relationships with stakeholders who supplemented internal efforts in finding suitable candidates such as university career offices (for their current students and alums) and industry experts for open positionsEducation
