TESTIMONIAL VIDEO | iMM - Best Master Thesis

Gonçalo Nogueira developed his master thesis in Miguel Prudêncio Lab. He explored the hypothesis that the loss of efficacy of the malaria vaccine's candidate is a direct consequence of the antiretroviral's inhibitory action over the immunizing parasites used to vaccinate. My role consisted in interviewing Gonçalo and getting plenty of B-Roll to illustrate his words, and then editing the video for online distribution while following iMM's guidelines. SHORT DOCUMENTARY | The Road Home

In March 2020, the Lisbon Project partnered with the Love and Respect Project (LAR), which aims to build a home for families of migrants and refugees in rural areas of Portugal. In the midst of a global pandemic, they were able to get two families out of a dire situation and provide them with housing and job contracts for the foreseeable future. RTPApr 2015 - Jan 2016 • 10 mosI did an internship in one of the biggest Portuguese broadcast networks, where I worked on different shows, recorded and live, shot on studio and on location. My job consisted on assisting the producers of each show both backstage and in the control room, and also during pre-production, assisting editors who were working on news stories to later be broadcast and in finding clips for journalists and editors from the network's archives.

Alfama FilmsAug 2011 - Feb 2012 • 7 mosI was an assistant director trainee on the feature film "The Lines of Wellington", directed by Valeria Sarmiento and starring John Malkovich, Catherine Deneuve, Michel Piccoli and Mathieu Almaric, among others. My role consisted in booking and coordinating extras on set, who some times were more than 400 people dressed in period costumes. It taught me a lot about dealing with different people and ways of making everyone feel heard.
