Directorate of Science, Technology and InnovationFull-time Employee• Leading the design and developments of solutions, architectures of nationwide services, and tools at a national scale. • Engage with high-level stakeholders and provide technical insight to leadership on project uptake and retention. • Provided strategic technical advice and insight to DSTI's leadership on the scope and scale of work needed to implement final requirements and solutions. • Co-Led the introduction of, and migration to, version control (GitHub) and cloud infrastructure (AWS), which allowed the department to grow from 2 to 8 developers and deploy tools and services at scale with speed. Highlight: Development and rollout of the “Government Service Platform", a last mile – low connectivity service that provides citizens with a single point of access to government services through SMS, USSD, Web and mobile pathways. Since the rollout, we have attracted 700K+ users and have sent over 21 million SMSs and processed over 15 million USSD requests. With the public exam checker, the service saved parents and students $1.5 million in costs.

Highlight: Built an Electronic Integrated Disease Surveillance Response (EIDSR) reporting system which is used in 100% of health facilities across the country with a 90%+ data accuracy, to provide the government with insight to determining possible disease outbreaks.

SBTSGROUPFull-time EmployeeFeb 2014 - Jul 2015 • 1 yr 6 mos* Co-designed and implemented of the first 117(National Emergency Hotline) call management system to support the Ebola response. * Design and Develop Analytic dashboards to track Key Performance Indicators such as close & open case, pranks calls and dispatched rate. • Co-developed and maintained of beneficiary and pension management system for National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT). • Troubleshooting all network, application and database issues • Designing, implementing and managing Active Directory. Highlight: 1. We scaled up the response call handling system from 2 operators to 64 in readiness for the first nation- wide three-day lockdown in 10 days. This allowed the response to manage and address over 10,000 calls and hundreds of cases during this period. 2. Built a biometric beneficiary registration and verification system to help in the reduction of fake or ghost pension beneficiary pay-outs by 90% after rollout.
