My home store was the 2nd largest store in the District with ~$2M in inventory and more than $2.5M in gross 2023 revenue. Nominated for a regional award within my first month, and awarded three by the time I left. Implemented new tactics as we moved to increase our customer satisfaction, overall sales, and ticket sizes. Monitored various KPIs including sales percentages, Loss Prevention, store challenges, and more. Learned opening and closing paperwork as well as fiduciary tasks like audits, drops, register reconciliation, safe, paid-outs. Sat in on interviews and district conference calls to gain more experience with upper management tasks. Assisted in training new management employees on sales and management tasks using our proprietary system. Trained in Consumer and Commercial sales and management duties, as well as inventory management and acting as a Hub store. This involved running the Commercial Department for an extended period, during which time we had fixed previous errors, increased the average ticket size, and sold roughly $10,000 per day as a department. This was demanding with several large clients, many small ones, and upwards of half a dozen drivers to send in our local and distance services areas. Inventory Management involved cycle counts, scanning ins & outs, and more. Corrected thousands of dollars in inventory, verified store overstock, and new items coming in.
