Concerned about excessive theoretical methods of teaching sustainability to children, the team the process to promote hands-on-learning and small steps to lead an eco-friendly lifestyle. The game consists of unique cards, spaces and series of stages which makes kids understand the impact of their decision on the environment. Furthermore, all parts are made from recyclable materials. We sold our game through word of mouth and social media to families, NGOs and schools. Additionally, it has been integrated into GIIS Punggol’s Environment Week and PYP curriculum to support teaching and learning. Our startup made a respectable profit within a year and we donated a portion to the non-profit Hemispheres Foundation for the education of underprivileged children in Cambodia.
