Emergency Database Optimisation - Rebud

Called in to act as a database engineer and incident response commander during an outage on 4/20 for a California-based Marijuana retail distribution and delivery firm caused by an overloaded database instance. Triaged issue, communicated with the client and rolled out several Postgres Schema fixes to restore service, preventing over $5 million dollars in retail losses.
