Projects

Near-real-time optimization drove 2x the return.

In a pioneering initiative, I led the beta launch campaign for The Honest Company in collaboration with Target’s Roundel and The Trade Desk. This exclusive partnership allowed us to leverage Roundel’s beta platform for a video and static ad campaign, aiming to increase Honest Co.’s in-store visibility and track measurable growth. The campaign was crafted to attribute display ad engagement directly to in-store purchases, demonstrating the power of Roundel’s marketplace capabilities. We combined Roundel’s customer insights with The Trade Desk’s programmatic expertise to reach Honest Co.'s target segments across digital and physical spaces. This effort underscored the value of emerging marketplaces, marking a significant step in challenging Amazon’s retail media dominance and showing how multi-platform retail media can drive both brand growth and tangible in-store results. In this initiative, I managed key partnerships, developed the marketing strategy, launched targeted campaigns, and provided performance insights, which resulted in a 4% boost in direct-to-consumer purchases on Honest.com despite a 40% ad spend reduction. On Target's platform, we achieved a 190% increase in online sales and a 140% ROAS, outperforming previous benchmarks and showcasing the impact of data-driven, agile strategies. This campaign is part of a broader industry trend, with companies like Walmart, Target, Kroger, and Instacart expanding their retail media networks to rival Amazon. For example, Walmart’s U.S. ad revenue grew by 30%, capturing a 6.8% share of the retail media market, while Target’s Roundel unit saw over 20% growth, enhancing ad effectiveness through customer data. These shifts highlight an escalating race in retail media, as brands leverage new platforms to connect with consumers, redefining the landscape. I’m passionate about leading the charge in this dynamic space, constantly seeking innovative ways to drive growth and value.See More
