The project was to demonstrate a sales analysis report using the Adventure Works DW from Microsoft to explore what is possible with Power BI. Highlighting key features that optimised the UX within the report through intuitive navigation and drill through features. The report also involved complex variables and dependant DAX measures to return a single outcome that highlighted key indicators such as top-performing products or monitoring stock inventory and calculating the estimated time till stock would be depleted using historic volumes to forecast future performance.See More

COVID 19 Analysis

There was a lot of news and concentration on daily figures around covid early on which didn't really offer many contexts in how that related to the rest of the world or how that related to the metrics a few weeks prior to help in understanding the trend of Covid in the UK or in the rest of the world Due to this, I wanted to create something that analysed the daily metrics in relation to the rest of the world to add context to the long term trends of cases and deaths per country. The dataset is built using API's and R scripts to collect the data daily and build the Power BI data model.See More
