With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, I have a strong foundation in software development and technology. As a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering, I developed the Palette API website to facilitate access to Palette, a text spotting model. I designed the UI with Figma and integrated it into React, while using Node.js to build a RESTful API connected with the front-end. Managing user registration, login, and access control on the front-end with data stored in a MySQL database was also part of my responsibilities. Additionally, I incorporated the Palette model into the API and efficiently deployed the entire system on AWS using Docker for packaging. My experience has equipped me with valuable skills in web development, API integration, and cloud deployment.
