Creative Director

Delta Phi KappaAug 2020 - Present • 4 yrs 2 mosAs the Creative Director of my sorority, Delta Phi Kappa, I would be in charge of designing advertisements for our organization. This would include flyers for our rush events, Facebook profile pictures, and sorority photoshoots.

Graphic Design Intern

Heroes JobsMar 2020 - Present • 4 yrs 8 mosI worked as a graphic designer for a mobile app startup where I designed advertisements, infographics, webpages, slide presentations, edited advertisement videos, and created graphic designs for the mobile app. As the only graphic designer in the company, I worked directly with Heroes Jobs co-founders and managed to work simultaneously on up to 3 projects at a given time to perform at the ultra-fast pace of an emerging startup. I worked closely with the marketing team to create designs that best reflected the creative and innovative nature of the company. I made numerous revisions incorporating feedback from the team to enhance messaging in the slide decks that were instrumental in helping to successfully secure $4M funding from investors for the company. After the summer, I have been working there as a freelancer.

Graphic Designer

University of California, DavisJun 2019 - Aug 2019 • 3 mosI worked as a graphic designer in a lab at UC Davis where I designed 3D molecular structures of proteins. I compiled the findings from postdoctoral researchers into an aesthetically pleasing presentation using graphic software. I discussed with the researchers the key information they wanted to highlight and would create many iterations. I would then seek their input on the designs and how they may be improved. The final result would be a clear and visually appealing presentation of otherwise complicated information.
