The key area of focus includes, cropping differences from Yellow/Dent corn, geography of cropping areas, seed stock, markets and a description of end users, history of farmgate prices, and a thorough understanding of marketing channels including contracts and traders. The methodology used for this study included a comprehensive review of industry reports and data sources related to alternative corn crops. Additionally primary research methods included interviews with industry expert, processors, and buyers.
