UConn Formula SAEWorked alongside other engineering students of different concentrations to design, build, and race a formula car at the annual Formula SAE competition in Michigan, competing against over 100 other schools across the United States and Internationally. I contributed to putting together the Control and Ergonomics system of the car and working with various programs such as SolidWorks to better understand and design each component of the system. Working with Engineering students who are upperclassmen allows me to develop certain skill sets much earlier in my studies, providing me with an opportunity to continuously grow and expand my knowledge in the Engineering industry as a whole.
