During the summer of 2021, I created and organized content for the Putnam History Museum’s social media pages. In this time I created posts for two campaigns: Museums To-Go, which featured bi-weekly, bite sized pieces of local history that viewers could enjoy and relate to, and The Putnam History Hunt, a month long scavenger hunt that took participants all around Putnam county in search of local history. Manitoga, The Russel Wright Design CenterAs a tour guide at Manitoga, I gave a 90 minute tour twice a day educating guests about modern art, architecture, and the natural flora and fauna of America's Northeast Region. I got to meet people from all over the world and guide them through a beautiful landscape and house. I had opportunities to practice my public speaking skills and even got to give a tour in Italian!

Putnam History MuseumJun 2021 - Aug 2021 • 3 mosIn my role as an intern, I was primarily responsible for running the museum's social media pages for the summer. I created content promoting museum events and programs as well as encouraging museum attendance. I analyzed the data from previous posts and campaigns to figure out the kind of content, presentation, and time of posting resonated best with our audience. I also conducted preliminary research on an upcoming museum exhibit featuring the art and history of the Indigenous peoples of Putnam County.
