Hello! I am currently a freshman undergraduate student at Siena College studying the field of "English". With my degree, I plan to pursue a career of writing professionally, whether it be for a newspaper company or my own novels one day!
Throughout high school, I acquired a plethora of writing awards (both local and national) for a fair majority of the pieces I would create. These awards would be given to my short stories, my personal memoirs, and even my college essay! Because of this I'd like to think and say that my talent for writing stretches across a very broad spectrum; I can write whatever I am told to! In addition to these awards, I was also published on Rosen Teen Health and Wellness my junior year of high school!
While I may have only experienced one full semester of college so far, I still managed to get myself involved in my campus newspaper "The Promethean". Not only do I contribute to the paper with articles bi-weekly during the semester, but I was also given an editor position for the "opinion" section of the paper this year (as a freshman, this is very hard to do)!
Some strong attributes that I believe I hold would certainly be meeting deadlines punctually, being able to not only learn in a fast paced environment, but also thrive, learning quickly and efficiently, and being able to give my 100% on my first trying attempt.
