Maggie Zheng
Maggie is a native Arizonan, born and raised in sunny Tucson. She strongly believes in continuous growth through self development and empowering others.
In undergrad, she studied neuroscience and Mandarin with the plan of pursuing a medical career, but later switched gears into business. She currently works in marketing and manages travel content at a startup based in New York City.
A lifelong activist, Maggie has served on the boards of two different non-profits that worked towards improving public education and women empowerment respectively. In university, she volunteered at a clinic that provides free healthcare for those experiencing homelessness, and also a program that donates medical goods to countries in need. She hopes to continue offering her time and efforts to under-served communities and is especially passionate about quality healthcare and education.
Maggie was a science writer for The Embryo Project Encyclopedia, a National Science Foundation funded journal on reproductive medicine, developmental biology, and embryology. She has two articles published on breast augmentation history and techniques.
An avid traveler and photographer, Maggie has featured work with American Eagle, Folk Magazine, BareMinerals, True&Co, and Urban Outfitters.
