Maria Mallory White
Principal at MalloryInk with 21+ years of editorial expertise
As the principal of MalloryInk, a self-owned editorial service, I have been providing high-quality web content, editorial, copywriting, and multi-channel content creation for various clients since 2002. With a Master of Theology and a Master of Divinity from Emory University, I have a deep understanding of the Christian faith and its implications for society, culture, and politics.
I also have extensive experience in writing, editing, and publication management in the nonprofit sector and for national and regional media outlets, including newsweeklies, newspapers, magazines, and websites. From 2022 to 2023, I served as managing editor of the Southern Poverty Law Center's Intelligence Project, leading a team of editors and investigative reporters producing SPLC's HateWatch, TechWatch, and Year in Hate and Extremism.
Prior to that, I worked as senior editorial manager at Prison Fellowship, a Christian non-profit organization that serves prisoners, ex-prisoners, and their families. There, I led a team of writers and editors to produce compelling and engaging content that showcased the organization's mission, vision, and impact. I also created and implemented editorial strategies, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency, quality, and relevance across all channels and platforms.
