The art of storytelling has always mesmerized me, whether it be through film, painting, or writing. I spent four years in New York City attending the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), pursuing a bachelor of science in film and media. This is where my story begins. I have five combined years of experience in writing, producing, and editing video content. I have created various film projects ranging from documentaries to experimental art films. My professional experiences include video editing for non-profit organizations, article writing for Balance Now, and assisting Qnary with social and visual content. I plan to combine my love for art with my passion for helping, educating, and supporting others.

Motherland

Adoption stories come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. As a Chinese-American adoptee, I grew up feeling isolated from my peers because I had a very different life story and no one to talk to or relate to. Each of the interviewees in this project is also an adoptee from China. While the skeletons of their stories are similar, each has different experiences, opinions, and traumas.See More
