Interactive Media Design student
As an Interactive Media Design student, my journey is fueled by a deep-rooted fascination with shapes and forms. This fascination is not just a passing interest, but a driving force that shapes my approach to spatial design in 3D environments. My work is heavily influenced by the architectural aesthetics that I explore, blending the boundaries between the tangible and virtual realms.
My inspiration comes from a wide array of sources, particularly from the rich and diverse world of science fiction and dystopian TV shows. From the high-speed adventures of 'The Flash' to the gritty streets of 'Daredevil' and 'The Arrow'; from the time-traveling escapades in 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' and Doctor Who, the many alien worlds from Supergirl and to the interstellar mysteries in 'Raised by Wolves' and The 100; each show contributes uniquely to my creative process. The vivid and often surreal visuals in these series, ranging from the post-apocalyptic scenarios of The Walking Dead and World War Z to the mystic charm of The Supernaturals and The Originals, offer a kaleidoscope of imagery that fuels my imagination.
Shows like Dark and The Manifest present a blend of darkness and light, both in their mythic narratives and visual storytelling, reflecting the dual nature of the worlds I aim to create. My moodboard collections are a testament to this, where I gather snippets of these rich visual landscapes. They serve as a canvas where the fantastical elements of these shows merge with my design sensibilities, allowing me to create spaces that are not just visually stunning but also narratively engaging.
In my exploration of virtual reality and worldbuilding for encyclopedic applications, I strive to infuse the essence of these diverse visual styles. Whether it's the eerie desolation of dystopian landscapes or the vibrant energy of superhero sagas, each element brings a unique flavor to my creations. My goal is to craft immersive experiences that not only captivate the audience but also push the boundaries of what is possible in interactive media design.
