Tasked with driving new innovative products and features that tied our services together, I piloted and then led the Smart Home voice portfolio of services (Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa) featured at Google I/O and the Amazon Alexa store. In addition, I served as Business prime for an API gateway, building the roadmap of features and capabilities to support our B2C, B2B, and B2E partners. Key Achievements: • Led multi-year product strategy and development for smart home voice assistant, growing to 80K+ install base and 20K+ monthly active users in nascent voice space. Featured at Google I/O and on the Amazon Alexa-store • Launched global-first unified Alexa app enabling voice control of unified TV, Wi-Fi, and Smart Home Security working cross functionally with engineering, marketing, legal, privacy, and customer support teams • Scaled internal enterprise API gateway supporting 500 APIs, 10K+ applications, and ~ $50M in annual revenue; liaised with stakeholders to prioritize platform features, capabilities and advocated to internal teams • Tested, analyzed, and iterated new revenue and cost-focused features in voice – contributing modest but growing $17K monthly from incremental video on demand sales and avoided call-center calls • Drafted revamped requirements for overhauled back-end Rewards platform, shifting to real-time RESTFUL APIs from batched FTP processes, dramatically improving offer flexibility, speed, and database reliability.
