Decreased Fatalities by Helping to Create Safer Mining Facilities

At BHP, the mission was to revolutionize safety practices by creating a centralized digital platform that empowers employees to proactively identify and mitigate hazards across global mining operations. Previously, safety data was scattered across systems, making it hard for engineers and field workers to access best practices or submit safety initiatives—hindering risk reduction and engagement. We developed a user-centric web application that unified BHP's Safety in Design (SiD) processes into one accessible platform. My contributions included conducting stakeholder interviews and user research, creating mid-fidelity prototypes, designing high fidelity designs and collaborating with development teams for seamless implementation. This approach resulted in strong user adoption, with 84% of users indicating frequent app usage and 88% finding it easy to navigate, which enhanced safety engagement and contributed to early indicators of reduced fatal injuries across BHP's operations.See More

30% Increased Efficiency Through a Transformed Delivery Experience

Shell realized they were experiencing many problems within multiple touchpoints of their invoicing and billing process between their distributors with such inefficiencies throughout the overall process. So, the team set out to simplify the billing process so Shell could save on time and resources to increase the customer experience and profitability. I helped create and ship an MVP mobile app where distributors can electronically record and sign for deliveries to have a seamless billing experience for Shell and their distributors.See More
