Striveworks Jan 2020 - Jan 2021 • 1 yr 1 moConceptualized, wrote content for and designed the corporate marketing website. Implemented it using Next.js and deployed it to Vercel which dramatically increased SEO within minutes of being propagated to the CDN. The site is fully integrated with a React CMS (Sanity IO) which makes it easy for the marketing department to edit and add new content. Architected the monorepo UI from the ground up using Typescript, Next.js, React, Lerna, Overmind, Playwright and Styled Components. Hired and led a team of Fullstack Engineers and designers to build out the AI/ML platform. Conducted team training to get the engineers up and running with the marketing site and existing monorepo structure. Conducted code reviews, interviews, sprint planning, and held Lunch and Learns to teach everyone at the firm the latest web architecture and UX best practices. Created a design system to improve the overall look and feel of the AI/ML application. Led tight feedback cycles to improve hi-fidelity mockups before implementation. Led the planning, design and development of an operational data science platform. Worked closely with customers (data scientists) and stakeholders to gather requirements, user feedback and conducted A/B testing for lo-fidelity mockups. Owned the product lifecycle from start to finish - from product specs, ticket creation, budgeting of timelines, organizing Sprints to now vertical (feature) owners. Worked closely with vertical owners to articulate vision and roadmap. Rebranded the company’s corporate colors, website and logo.
