Specifically, a member of the Open MCT team that is working on an open source mission control software, as well as providing assistance with VERVE, a 3D visualization system used for exploration science operations. Some notable responsibilities include: (1) Conducting user research, observation, and testing of science teams at NASA using Open MCT. (2) Creating mockups and interactive designs, and writing code to transform them into real-time features for Open MCT. (3) Leading the development of the Open MCT Users Manual, which will be used by VIPER mission personnel and the overall public.
