Missouri State Threats and Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (THIRA) and SPR

A statewide collection of data for threats, hazards, and risks to the people of Missouri, as well as the current (as of 2019) response to such events. The data was collected after regional and local meetings were held by OHS staff as they travelled to each region and collaborated with other State and local agencies to gauge Missouri's readiness. All data was compiled into a single report prior to submission, going through the editing process multiple times to cut the page total down from 400 to roughly 200. This is a federally required project, as it dictates how much funding each state gets for their Homeland Security budget each fiscal year and informs both State and Federal agencies of where there are shortcomings in relations to response to disasters both natural and man-made.See More
