I was always told that art would not support me, so I studied medicine where I delved into human psychology and genetic research. My husband encouraged me to harness creative potential in the form of frontend development. I went from "hello world" to working at a Fortune 100 company in 4 months. Here, I honed my technical skills and discovered a passion for accessibility. Recognizing my desire to shape designs rather than merely execute them, I embarked on the journey to become a UX Designer. Today, as a freelancer for startup companies, I've found my true calling. I am able to seamlessly blend creativity, technical skills, and empathy to create meaningful user experiences.

Web Developer

Code SWEOct 2023 - Present • 1 yrMost of my work lies within the design and research realm for this project as I have designed an entire website for it, conducted KPI testing on iteration 1 of the design, and am implementing changed for the next iteration. I also have been aiding in the frontend development of the website by implementing reusable components and responsive styling. I also have built a landing page using Wordpress for the company's soft launch, and have designed the email templates that will be sent to the users as we progress on site development. Currently, I am implementing a design system to help myself stay organized and to make onboarding new team members more seamless as well.
