Tasha James
Content Creator, Photographer, Blog Writer
I'M TASHA, A DIGITAL INFLUENCER, PHOTOGRAPHER, & WRITER, FROM THE WASHINGTON DC-AREA.
I started The Glossier (glossy-AY) a few years ago for several reasons—first, I'm obsessed with print magazines and design, and I've always wanted to have a magazine of my own. Creating this site was a way for me to finally get my wish, and also, I needed a creative outlet outside of my work, to keep me sane.
I also wanted to create a place where I could be myself, and where I could inspire people to be themselves too. I think it's really important in a world always trying to tear down our self-esteems, that we learn to love ourselves, and be proud of what we do—unapologetically.
I would definitely consider myself a dreamer, and more often than not, I'm always thinking about some way to make my life or the life of someone else better—I don't believe in 'no', I don't believe in 'can't', and I don't believe in having to settle. I've learned that anything is possible if you try, and I'm going to keep trying, until the life I want is fully realized. —Tasha
