The challenge During the branding of NRS Relief, there were two main challenges: first, creating a logo that clearly showed the organization's mission to help refugees with shelters and essential products, and second, making sure the new brand still connected with its parent company, NRS International, while looking different. The solution The logo design used a triangle shape, reminiscent of a shelter, which was flipped to form a human figure. This represented refugees and the hands that support them. It helped convey the brand’s purpose with an attentive, joyful, and bold design. The challenge Aster Canada faces challenges in standing out in a competitive healthcare staffing market, where many brands appear generic. As a growing company, building trust and credibility with clients can be difficult. Additionally, the website’s usability might be an issue, with visitors potentially struggling to quickly find key information. The solution The unique branding, featuring the Canadian maple leaf and the letter "A," helps Aster Canada differentiate itself while instilling trust. Purpose Driven Annual Report

The challenge A key challenge in designing the 2017-2018 UNGC Communication on Progress for NRS International was effectively conveying the company’s humanitarian impact while maintaining a structured, engaging editorial. The report needed to integrate UNGC principles and highlight country profiles where our products are deployed in humanitarian and health emergencies. The solution I developed a visually compelling editorial featuring a strong typographic hierarchy to enhance readability and guide the audience through the report. The cover image, which I personally photographed in a refugee camp in Lebanon, along with forward-facing arrow motifs, symbolized progress and purpose-driven action. This approach ensured a clear, engaging, and impactful presentation of NRS International’s humanitarian efforts.See More

TANA Netting Sustainability Report

The challenge Designing the 52-page TANA Netting sustainability report posed several challenges. As the report was intended exclusively for digital submission, I needed to ensure that the layout and interactivity were optimized for digital viewing. One of the key challenges was presenting complex data through illustrations and graphs in a way that was both visually engaging and easy for readers to understand. I had to ensure that the information was clear and accessible, without overwhelming the audience. The solution To address these challenges, I centered the design around the theme "Following our progress" and used the brand element of arrows to symbolize forward movement, reinforcing the concept of progress throughout the report. I selected the “Baloo Chettan” typeface for the main titles and headings, bringing an elegant and sophisticated touch to the typography. To enhance the report’s visual appeal and clarity, I incorporated high-quality photos, illustrations, and colored graphs, creating a clear visual hierarchy that guided the reader through the content while ensuring the data was easily digestible.See More

The challenge Due to frequent updates in product specifications, I was tasked with designing a completely new product catalogue from scratch. Additionally, the sales team faced difficulties with the heaviness of printed catalogues and materials they needed to carry on business trips. The challenge was to create a catalogue that not only had a fresh, modern design but also presented the information in a simple, impactful way that was easy for the team to carry and use effectively. The solution To tackle this, I redesigned the catalogue with a focus on clarity and ease of use. I structured the pages using tables for product details and applied consistent text styles throughout. The catalogue starts with an introduction page, followed by an infographic that visually represents the organization’s supply chain. Each product category is introduced with high-quality field photos and brief descriptions, and professional studio photographs were used to highlight Core Relief Items. I also opted for an A4 size, making the catalogue compact enough for easy carrying while still large enough to display products clearly and effectively.See More
