Hiring Toolkit for major US city Digital Services department

As Lead Volunteer for a U.S. Digital Response volunteer team, I helped develop a Hiring Toolkit to support the hiring & evaluation of the entire Digital Services team. During the delivery of the project, we interviewed the newly appointed Director of the department and helped him build a process and equipped him with the tools to complete 4 hires in the short term, and built the foundations for further hires. The toolkit was repackaged to be delivered to other government agencies in need of digital transformation. Survey to assess Employment Benefits fraud claims

As a member of a U.S. Digital Response volunteer team, I helped develop a bi-lingual survey to assess Employment Benefits fraud claims affecting a large proportion of Hispanic population in a US State. I joined the project team after the initial research phase, and I collaborated with the UX Researchers and Designers on the translation and localization of the survey, including some suggestions about creating a "dictionary of standard translations" for consistency across projects & tools, which was eventually developed into a tool of its own at U.S. Digital Response.See More

Employee Recognition Platform

In my role as VP of Global Talent, I volunteered to replace the existing employee recognition platform to improve some of the existing user pain points. After interviewing various users to gather perspectives, I determined the most critical pain points and the most valuable success metrics to hit. Then I led a team to research the market and evaluate replacement alternatives, finally settling on a homegrown solution based on MS Teams features. The new solution was launched within 3 months, improving all the metrics we had set, and repurposing the annual cost of license fees into rewards for the team, effectively increasing the budget for recognition without any additional cost to the organization.See More

Assembling 5 global development teams

After the organization landed additional contracts with some existing large clients, the Global Talent team I led was tasked with the job of supporting the required staffing growth. This required extensive coordination with the hiring managers (some of which were also new to their positions/clients). We ended up hiring and onboarding some 70 new team members over the course of a year, and getting contract extensions and additions the following year due to the speed and quality of the hires. We accomplished this through a combination of sourcing, referrals, job posting campaigns, and strategic collaboration with global recruiting agencies in the target markets, some of which were a first for ITX. This initiated the expansion of our talent footprint in LatAm and SouthEast Asia. See More
