Marketing & Design Swiss Army Knife with a talent for strategy and big-picture thinking 💡
I am a versatile marketing and design professional with over 15 years of experience supporting small to medium-sized businesses and nonprofits. As a strategic marketing consultant, I excel at audience research, communications planning, and creating culturally competent strategies to better connect organizations with their existing customers and new markets locally and globally. My unique strength is the ability to step into any marketing role and immediately provide strategic vision combined with tactical execution across the full marketing mix.

Projects

Columbus Metropolitan Club Website

The Columbus Metropolitan Club is a nonprofit organization with more than 1,400 members which hosts weekly townhall style forums. For about four years between 2019 and 2023 I was responsible for all of the marketing, design, and copywriting for the organization, working on more than 200 events. The CMC website is the main hub of the organization’s activities, averaging 4,500 unique visitors each month. The website houses unique pages for each of the 50+ yearly events, including detailed descriptions, speaker bios, registration, and post-event media including photo galleries, livestream recordings, and podcast embeds.See More

Columbus Metropolitan Club Social Media

Although the majority of CMC’s social media activity is about promoting its upcoming events, in 2023 I created some short-form videos editing the weekly event (forum) recordings into 60-second recaps. • "top un official" 60-second event recap: https://youtube.com/shorts/llmlebjAuJw?si=IY_Uk9g2ATb0qUWE • "style capital" event promo: https://www.tiktok.com/@cbusmetroclub/video/7280537702792023338 • new forum venue announcement: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=714160364087516 • "can ohio weather climate change?" event reminder: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CrBWAc8t3p4See More

Ohio Water Partnership

The Ohio Water Partnership is a nonprofit organization comprised of business members. I was responsible for building their first website and assisted the organization with its launch event, which was held virtually due to the pandemic. We wanted to create an engaging and exciting website that would take what could sometimes be dry content and make it more approachable. The website was built in WordPress with Elementor. I also edited and produced for OWP’s launch event, created using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects: https://amandalsage.com/project/ohio-water-partnershipSee More

New Albany Founders Day Website

New Albany Founders Day is the original local festival in my hometown of New Albany, Ohio. I have volunteered for several years, developing and maintaining the website, doing social media and e-mail marketing, and designing wayfaring and signage. The Founders Day WordPress website serves to promote the event itself, as well as manage vendor and parade signups. It’s modest but mighty!See More
