Kenny's Flamen Steel

My role in this project was to spearhead the user experience and interface design of a responsive E-commerce website using Wix. This began by asking in depth questions to get the idea of what my client was looking for. From there I began to ideate, creating drafts and outlines. After getting feedback from customers and the client, I began to create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes for both mobile and desktop. My client was interested in having a brighter color scheme with a simple, small business feel to it. I accomplished this by keeping the overall elements simple and focusing on the finer details of the project. I choose to hone in on the typography and overall hierarchy of the site. The goal was to create an easily navigable site with a straight forward user flow. I kept the overall navigation to an upper menu with the main focus being the products. The home screen is centered around hero images of the main product with the about screen informing the user's of the overall goal of the company. With the high fidelity prototypes created and refined over a series of weeks, it was time to replace the lorem ipsum and add the photos. This left me with the last task of creating the product listings. I created a simplistic filter and category screen, leaving the photos themselves as the main focus. I began testing the final product as the final stages of the design process began to wrap up. After tweaking the site throughout the final revisions I had the final iteration that left both my client, and his customers content.See More
