Product designer with 6+ years' startup experience | 2-time founder | Biomedical Engineering Master's

With a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Glasgow and a Master's Thesis in Biomechanics from ETH Zürich, I have a solid foundation in both engineering and biomechanics. I began my professional journey as a Software Engineer at Tech Innovators Inc. in January 2018, where I developed and maintained web applications, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and implemented new features based on client requirements. In July 2021, I advanced to the role of Senior Software Engineer at the same company, leading a team of engineers, designing scalable software solutions, and ensuring the quality and performance of applications. My expertise lies in creating innovative software solutions that meet client needs and drive technological advancements.

Projects

Co-founder at legaltech startup Taxd

I quickly designed a brand that's fitting of the characteristics that we all wanted for Taxd: friendly yet sophisticated, helpful yet honest, trustworthy yet not corporate. I designed the web app and designed and built the website on Webflow, taking them through several iterations. A few months after launching in October 2021, over 900 Self Assessment tax returns had been submitted through Taxd. And only 5-star reviews.See More

Co-founder at proptech startup Homey

In a founding team of 3, I owned the entire product stack. This included: idea conception, mapping of user flows, user research, redefining and modernising the conveyancing process and customer journeys, product design, product management, customer relationship management, recruiting, (some) frontend development, defining the culture and values for the company… And much, much more. We raised £500,000+ in pre-seed funding, acquired our first customers, and achieved £500,000+ ARR.See More

Design Partner for Founders at Cortado

Perry reached out to me after seeing the design systems on my Figma Community page. At the time, he loved how our design tastes aligned. Today, he loves how incredibly productive I am to design apps and establish brand new design systems. All three of us worked closely together and, with the help of a product development agency, we brought the app to market in a few months. Today, they're running pilots with customers across the USA.See More
